you can find here 2 optimized database files which can be used to override the shinkanji built in ones. by adding them to the application documents list in itunes.

• The first one is a handwriting recognition file with more precision in the models and more models (some rare kanji included) handwriting recognition. I don’t intend to add this one to the standard distribution as while it is more accurate it is also slower
• The second one is an updated word database which should be faster when querying words starting with some kanji. word database this one needs testing but should be in the next appstore release
