finally for the new year a new version is submitted:
1) new UI the search selection buttons now use icons + text and are easier to tap. Slight updates in position of elements in the main screen. Search results are in a table instead of a picker.
Note: those are very mild changes and the changes in the search results will probably be reverted. This UI update was done after the much more radical updates in 2.2.3.3->2.2.3.10 received several negative review, basically it made it easier for me to add feature but at the expense of more taps to access the same searches. The remaining changes are not trying to address the issues of how to add new functionality but just the following 2: The << and >> buttons where too ugly. The search buttons where a bit hard to hit and to read as they were too small.
2) grid in the Stroke order diagram like in the drawing area (can be turned on or off using a setting)
3) send feedback button in the setting screen to easily send me feedbacks
4) improved the way reading are searched so that kanji corresponding to adjectives or verbs can be searched by the reading of said adjective or verb (serch for “atsui” or “taberu” work)
5) when a crash is detected reset the settings (as previously) but do not show the help screens
6) history list
7) user defined list
8 ) improved tutorial graphics

The UI changes I was making in order to give me the possibility to add compound support did not go well with my tester. For this reason I am studying how I could do things differently. This will probably postone the release of the compound support a little bit. Hopefully not too much.

Hello,
it seems that there is a problem when using shinkanji and firmware 2.2
The transparency of the view containing the kanji information is not working correctly and this view is showing with a white opaque background. I am investigating the problem
